Cloud Labs Usage Guidelines

Customer agrees that the below terms and conditions shall apply to the use of Labs and Services.

AWS / Azure /Google portal labs/ VM based labs:

• Company shall establish Labs based on written directions / guidelines of the Customer. Customer represents that the implementation of the directions issued by the Customer will not violate any laws or regulations under applicable laws or violate rights of third parties.
• Labs shall be used for the purpose of providing training, learning and workshops to End Users enrolled to the programs offered by the Customer. Labs shall not be used for any other purpose, including for personal or production requirements.
• Customer shall ensure that the End Users shall be allowed use of the Labs only on demand / pay as you go instances.
• Unless expressly requested by the End Users, the instance sizes (Compute / Database / any other similar resources) used by the Students / end users should always be less than equal 2 core.
• There shall be no usage of reserved / perpetual / commitment-based instances.
• Lab resources should be deleted when not in use.
• Customer shall ensure that the End Users protect the Lab resources using strong passwords, firewall rules etc. If any of these resources are hacked / used for purposes such as spamming, then any associated usage charges / liabilities / legal charges will solely be to the account of the Customer. Customer shall, promptly upon written request of Company, refund to the Company all costs and expenses arising from misuse of Lab resources.
• Company will use its best efforts to alert the Customer within 24 hours of receiving usage alerts from their vendors. Customer shall indemnify the Company to the full extent from all losses and liabilities incurred by the company from misuse of Labs / Services by the Customer or the End Users / persons authorized by the Customer.
• In the event of misuse of Labs or upon breach of these terms by the Customer or its End Users, the Company reserves the right to terminate, also without prior notice.
